Great States Development Announces Plans for Emra at Sioux Falls, a New Active Adult 55+ Community

Sioux Falls, SD — Fargo-based Great States Development today announced plans for Emra at Sioux Falls, a new Active Adult 55+ residential community to be developed near Six Mile Road and Arrowhead Parkway in southeast Sioux Falls.
Emra at Sioux Falls is designed for residents 55 and better, offering a maintenance-free lifestyle with thoughtful amenities and everyday conveniences.
"The demand for quality active adult 55+ housing in Sioux Falls is real and growing. Emra is our answer to that, a community built around comfort, connection, and the people who will live there,“ said Jonathan Casper, Founder of Great States Development. "This development complements our other strategic investments in the Sioux Falls market and reflects our long-term commitment to this region."
The community will offer 95 homes across one and two bedroom floor plans with two levels of underground parking. Community amenities will include a yoga studio, fitness center, community gathering space, and a large outdoor courtyard.
Great States Development is the developer on the project, with Assam Development, Inc. serving as a partner. Great States Construction will serve as general contractor.
A formal groundbreaking is planned for August 5 at 3pm, with completion expected in 2028. Additional details about floor plans, pricing, and leasing will be announced ahead of the community's opening.
