Brunsfield North Loop Joins the Great States Development Portfolio
Great States Development has completed its acquisition of Brunsfield North Loop, a 46-unit mixed-use development located on Washington Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The property, formerly known as Phoenix North Loop, was originally completed in 2013.
Brunsfield North Loop includes apartments ranging from studio to penthouse layouts, in addition to ground-floor commercial tenants. Spyhouse Coffee Roasters, one of the Twin Cities’ best-known coffee houses, occupies a retail suite in the building.
“Brunsfield North Loop is a fantastic addition to our growing portfolio,” noted Scott Houle, President of Great States Development. “The property’s North Loop location makes it a natural fit.”
A Deepening Commitment to the North Loop
The North Loop has evolved into one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the Twin Cities, with its walkable streets, a dense mix of retail and restaurants, and easy access to downtown Minneapolis.
Notably, Brunsfield North Loop is Great States Development’s third multi-family acquisition in the neighborhood, joining ElseWarehouse and The Copham. Together they represent one of the company’s most concentrated positions in any single market.
“Operating three properties allows our team to be North Loop experts and deliver a level of resident-first service that is difficult to match,” explained Houle. “We continue to grow our presence in the North Loop.”
The acquisition officially closed October 28, 2026. The community will be professionally managed by Collective.
